The process
Six stages, and
no shortcuts
The consultation
One hour · free
You come to the atelier with whatever you have — a photograph, a fabric, a Pinterest board, or nothing at all. We talk about the occasion, the setting, what you like on your body and what you have never been able to wear. You leave with a sketch and a written quote.
Drawing & fabric
Two to three weeks
We refine the design and source the cloth. Silk comes from Como, lace from Calais, embroidery thread from Mumbai. You approve both the final drawing and the physical swatches before anything is cut.
The toile
First fitting
A full version of the gown in plain calico. It looks like nothing and tells us everything — where the waist really sits, how the neckline behaves when you move, whether the skirt is too heavy. We mark it up on you and take it apart.
Cutting & construction
Fittings two to five
Now the real fabric. The gown is built in stages and fitted at each one, so nothing is finished until the shape underneath is correct. Embroidery and beading begin once the panels are stable.
Finishing
Final fitting
Hems rolled by hand, linings closed, hooks and bars set, the whole thing pressed. You try it on with the shoes and underwear you will actually wear on the day — this is not the moment for approximations.
Handover
Collection or shipping
The gown goes into a structured garment box with a cotton cover, a care card, and a small bag of matching thread and spare beads. If you are travelling, we ship insured, door to door.

How far ahead should I come?
For bridal, eight to twelve months before the date. For an evening gown, three to four months. We keep a small number of rush places each season — ask, and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
What does bespoke cost?
A made-to-measure evening gown generally starts around €700, and bridal around €1,400. Heavily embroidered pieces run considerably higher. You get a written quote at the consultation, and it does not change unless you change the design.
Can you remake a dress I have seen elsewhere?
We will not copy another designer's work. We are very happy to take it as a starting point and design something of our own that gives you what you liked about it.
I do not live in Kosovo. Can this still work?
Yes, and it often does. We do the first consultation by video, work from a measurement set taken by a tailor near you, and bring you in for two fittings instead of five. Around a third of our clients are abroad.
What if I change my mind halfway through?
Small changes are expected and included. Structural changes after the toile is approved are quoted separately, because they usually mean re-cutting. We will always tell you the cost before we start.
Do you alter gowns bought elsewhere?
No. Our fitting time goes to pieces we have made, where we know exactly how they were built.
